For our Electronic Warfare Ground Support program department, we are looking for a Project Manager Ground Support Solutions – Electronic Warfare  (m/f/d)* to join our team in Ulm at the earliest possible date.

The program department is responsible for the planning, delivery, and further development of ground-based solutions supporting electronic warfare missions. In this role, you will manage complex projects related to ground support solutions and software and data platform components across the full project lifecycle — from bid and proposal activities through execution to successful customer delivery.

You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams as well as customers, partners, and suppliers in a technologically demanding environment.

Your Responsibilities

You will take end-to-end responsibility for managing projects in the field of Electronic Warfare Ground Support, with a focus on ground support solutions and data-related system elements. In this role, you will ensure project delivery in line with schedule, cost, quality, and performance targets while coordinating all key internal and external interfaces.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing complex projects in the field of Electronic Warfare Ground Support
• Leading projects throughout the full project lifecycle
• Ensuring delivery against agreed schedule, cost, quality, and performance objectives
• Working closely with program management and adjacent project areas
• Coordinating interdisciplinary teams across engineering/development, finance, procurement, quality, and configuration management
• Planning and steering project and management reviews, milestones, and decision-making bodies
• Preparing and maintaining project plans, schedules, delivery plans, and integration plans
• Monitoring project progress, including KPI and status reporting as well as risk management
• Coordinating with customers/users, partners, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal functions
• Supporting bid, proposal, and tender activities
• A willingness to travel on business is required.

Your Profile

• University degree in a relevant technical or business-related discipline
• Several years of professional experience in project management, ideally in a defence, industrial, or public-sector environment
• Experience in bid preparation and the delivery of complex projects
• Experience working with German customers; familiarity with public procurement environments and BAAINBw would be an advantage
• Proven experience in coordinating interdisciplinary teams and external partners
• Strong working knowledge of project management methods and tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, combined with initiative and assertiveness
• Sound technical understanding of complex systems in the ground support environment
• Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
