About the department

For the department Customer Services ATC/TRML-4D, we are looking for a "Project Assistant In Service Support (ISS)" and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for ground-based radar systems at the Ulm site at the earliest date possible. Applications from younger professionals, who may not yet fulfil all requirements and are motivated for a demanding further development, are very welcome as well. The department Customer Services ATC/TRML-4D is responsible for the Integrated Logistics Support and the subsequent In-Service Support (ISS) of our military and civilian customers’ systems. As part of the product delivery projects, the ILS project managers create the basis on which the ISS project managers will build the successful ISS contracts. Your 

Your Tasks

• Assistance to ISS Project Manager with regard to process documentation for proposals and orders/contracts and collection of the documentation required for invoicing
• Support the ISS Project Managers with regard to status tracking of internal and external suppliers
• Contribution to the reply to customer requests, analysis of customer requirements in close alignment with the project managers and internal experts under consideration of information collected from the responsible internal departments
• Participation in the elaboration of proposals, calculations (in accordance with Public Pricing Law) and corresponding proposal documentation
• Contribution to the internal and external project/program reporting
• Status data administration in the relevant Dashboards/IT Tools
• Support the project manager with regard to cost and schedule tracking and in case of deviations, support the cause analysis and provide proposals for mitigation to the Project Managers
• Deliveries and schedules have to be aligned with the internal expert departments, suppliers (with involvement of the responsible Procurement Manager), field service colleagues and customers
• Support of the ILS managers with regard to their monitoring- and control tasks of their ILS project team and provision of administrative assistance to ILS managers 

After successful orientation, training and practice phase, there is the possibility to take over more and more of the above described tasks under own responsibility and as a result personal development to an ILS/ISS Project Manager at mid term.

Your Profile

• Commercial Apprenticeship with practical experience or beginner after successful completion of studies of business administration or technical studies
• First business experience in customer services, proposal elaboration and order management (preferably in the defence, security or aeronautical branch)
• Autonomous way of working
• Open to teamwork in an international/multicultural environment
• Knowledge of common management tools such as MS Project, SAP
• Language Skills: German and English for self-contained international customer communication (speaking and writing)
