Our technology is used by organizations all over the world. From the Netherlands, we provide service, maintenance and support to customers at home and abroad.

Job Description

As a Service Engineer, you are responsible for installing, maintaining and servicing our radars and navigation systems. You ensure that our systems continue to function optimally worldwide.

You will work both independently and, in a team, and are willing to travel at short notice when service or installation at customer premises is required.

The work takes place in the Netherlands and internationally and can sometimes take place outside regular working hours.

Job Functions

• Installing, maintaining and repairing equipment manufactured by HENSOLDT
• Providing high-quality service to customers at home and abroad
• Confident in written and verbal English and Dutch (German is a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Preparation of service reports and expense reports with a clear overview of the work performed
• Registering service activities in our ERP system
• Reporting technical findings to the organization
• Supporting the management of service parts and inventories
• Collaborate with colleagues and report to the service manager
• Performing other activities that contribute to optimal service provision
• Strong understanding of the electromagnetic spectrum, particularly in the radar, HF, VHF, UHF bands
• Please note, security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance. 

Requirements

• Experience in installing and maintaining high tech radar equipment
• The ability to read technical drawings
• Good command of the English language
• Driving license B
• Knowledge of MS Office
• An enthusiastic and practical colleague who likes to work with technology and enjoys traveling internationally.
• You like to get things done and want to continue to develop yourself. These international trips are usually four or five days long.

Qualifications

• A completed MBO technical education in electrical engineering, electronics or similar.
