Job Scope

HENSOLDT Netherlands enables developing and delivering Electromagnetic Spectrum Management (ESM) excellence for the Netherlands Armed Forces in order to create a safer tomorrow, together with its global HENSOLDT sister companies and partners in The Netherlands’ defence and security environment.

 

HENSOLDT Netherlands’ primary tasks are project management and ensuring logistical and in-service support in the context of military applications. Focussing on logistical and in-service support, it enables Integrated Logistics Support for the Solutions Project Team and In-Service Support for HENSOLDT customer specific ESM solutions.

Job Functions

Responsible to support the setup and maintain supply chain processes to ensure our Customers ESM Solutions life cycles in line with their requirements. It includes the coordination and assurance of safe, efficient, secure, and controlled receipt, storage, and movement of materials in accordance with HENSOLDT procedures and guidelines along with the accurate inputting of various transactions, record updating and reporting, as required.

 

Furthermore, enabling in the shipping of HENSOLDT and Customer goods globally ensuring safe and efficient on time delivery and reimportations where required, while ensuring all documentation is correct and in accordance with customer, company, and legislative requirements.

 

General, performance and relation/account management of logistics suppliers/providers/contractors, including audit of import/export quotes from against actual charge.

  • Manage the supply/delivery of ESM products/components/solutions in time, cost and quality.
  • Setup and management of supply chain (concept) in close coordination with other HENSOLDT internal Divisional and Entity logistical departments.
  • For the entire duration of a project, analyse customer requirements, and identify and initiate necessary ILS-related measures.
  • Act as prime point of contact with customers and subcontractors regarding the safe, efficient, secure, and controlled receipt, storage, and movement of materials.
  • Planning and controlling ILS-related management tasks in interdisciplinary teams throughout the entire life cycle.
  • Planning, controlling and implementing measures to maintain the availability of complex systems (repairs, obsolescence elimination, training and technical overhaul of systems).
  • Practice good housekeeping to maintain the quality of materials and a safe working environment.
  • Initiate and facilitate the return of defective materials to and the collection of repaired materials from suppliers, as required.
  • Produce and issue all relevant shipping documentation while ensuring all imports and exports strictly adhere to company procedures and trade compliance legislation, and review and update processes when required.

                                                            

Requirements

  • Experience in quotation processing, with a foundational understanding of contract law and a willingness to further develop this knowledge.
  • Solid understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) principles and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics requirements for complex systems, products, and related support services.
  • Familiarity with military logistics, including export control and ITAR regulations, is an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a structured and independent approach to work.
  • Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills, assertiveness, and a confident presence in both national and international settings.
  • Business fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in ERP systems such as IFS and/or SAP.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of packing standards relevant to different types of goods and transport methods, including familiarity with INCOTERMS.
  • Preferably certified in the Packing, Handling, and Dispatch of Dangerous Goods.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance is mandatory for this position.

 

Qualifications

  • Completed studies in a technical or commercial discipline, such as Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
