Job Scope
For our Netherlands Office, we are looking for an experienced EW technical Engineer. The ideal candidate will be a passionate Technical Engineer with vast experience working on high-tech EW and communication systems. You will be a crucial part of our dynamic service team, dedicated to maintaining the flawless operation of HENSOLDT EW equipment.
Job Functions:
- Integrating EW subsystems (e.g., receivers, DF antennas, demodulators) into mobile, fixed, or airborne platforms. Conducting system-level testing, including RF path verification and mission readiness validation.
- Operational and deployment experience of EW assets in tactical environments, including mobile platforms, dismounted configurations, and rapid setup/teardown procedures.
- Troubleshooting like a real troubleshooter.
Requirements
- Minimal HBO degree in electrical engineering (Elektrotechniek).
- Service Engineer with more than 10 years of working experience in the related field.
- In-depth knowledge of EW systems designed for Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), including both communications and non-communications signal collection, direction finding (DF), signal classification, and demodulation.
- Competent with use of spectrum analysers, signal generators, vector network analysers (VNAs), field strength meters, and other RF test equipment specific to EW environments.
- Confident in written and verbal English and Dutch (German is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of the electromagnetic spectrum, particularly in the HF, VHF, UHF bands, as used in EW operations.
- Please note, security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
- A driving license B and no objection to traveling.
