About the role

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead the transition of complex electronic products from development into production-ready solutions.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and product lifecycle management, ensuring that products are designed, qualified, and industrialised effectively for reliable, scalable production.

You will play a key role in shaping engineering processes, influencing product design for manufacturability, and driving continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.

Qualification and experience

• Degree in Engineering (Electronic, Industrial, or similar).
• 8–12 years’ experience in a product development and manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience taking products through the full development lifecycle into production.
• Strong understanding of industrialisation / manufacturing readiness.
• Experience working across multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Solid understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) processes.

Advantageous

• Experience with environmental qualification standards (e.g. DO-160, MIL-STD, CE).
• Knowledge of PFMEA and risk-based engineering approaches.
• Project management experience or qualification.
• Exposure to precision assembly, testing, or quality control processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead industrialisation activities to ensure products move efficiently from development to production.
• Influence product design through design reviews, ensuring manufacturability and producibility.
• Drive concurrent engineering across multi-disciplinary teams (development, production, quality).
• Plan and support environmental qualification and compliance activities (e.g. DO-160, MIL-STD where applicable).
• Establish and improve engineering and product lifecycle processes (PLM).
• Ensure production readiness, including tooling, test capability, and process definition.
• Identify risks and drive continuous improvement across engineering workflows and product delivery.
