About the Role 

We are seeking an experienced Project Operations Manager to lead and optimise end-to-end manufacturing, assembly, integration, logistics, inventory, quality, safety, and continuous improvement operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality products and programmes efficiently, compliantly, and profitably while supporting business growth and operational excellence

Qualifications and experience: 

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical or Electronic), Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline. 

• Postgraduate qualification in Engineering Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing would be advantageous. 

• Minimum 8 years' manufacturing experience with at least 5 years in a senior operational leadership role. 

• Experience in high-technology manufacturing environments. 

• Proven experience with operations planning, scheduling, cost management, and supply chain coordination for complex technical programmes.

Key responsibilities: 

Operational Delivery and Production Performance 

• Lead manufacturing and operational execution activities to achieve production, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets, resulting in predictable programme delivery and customer satisfaction. 

Quality, Safety and Regulatory Compliance 

• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements to minimise risk and deliver products that consistently meet customer and statutory standards. 

Supply Chain, Inventory and Asset Management 

• Manage materials, inventory, equipment, and logistics resources to ensure uninterrupted operations, optimal asset utilisation, and reliable programme execution. 

Operational Excellence and Financial Performance 

• Drive continuous improvement and cost optimisation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve business profitability. 

Leadership and Capability Development 

• Develop and lead high-performing teams to strengthen capability, engagement, succession readiness, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
