About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Engineer to take ownership of ILS design and lifecycle management for advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) systems. In this role, you will ensure long-term, effective support solutions by integrating technical expertise, stakeholder collaboration, and rigorous lifecycle planning from concept to sustainment.
Qualifications & Experience

B.Eng, BSc Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.

Minimum 10 years’ experience in a logistic support environment.
Key Technical Skills
-
Solution provisioning and technical capability expertise.
-
Systems Engineering Process knowledge (ISO/IEC 15288).
-
Product lifecycle and obsolescence management.
-
Scope and change management in complex environments.
-
Stakeholder management and training process knowledge.
-
Proficiency in reliability, maintainability, and test equipment analysis.
-
Advantageous: Radio propagation and communication principles knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
1. ILS Design & Support Implementation
-
Lead principle design and implementation for new projects.
-
Analyse maintenance requirements for EW products and systems.
-
Provide project input on schedules, financial planning, personnel, and budgets.
-
Draft Integrated Logistic Support and Maintenance Plans.
-
Develop support strategies and implement preventive maintenance systems.
-
Identify, manage, and report technical and project risks.
-
Define reliability programme requirements, perform FMECA, and support logistic element development.

Identify engineering specialist areas for inclusion in ILS design (e.g., Thermal, EMI/EMC, FEM).
2. Failure Analysis
-
Review reliability, failure, and non-conformance data for equivalent systems.

Report failure analysis findings to relevant stakeholders.
3. Systems Lifecycle Management
-
Support mid-life upgrades and configuration management.
-
Manage engineering change proposals to system delivery.
4. Client Interface
-
Understand and analyse client operational and upgrade requirements.

Assess how solutions fit within operational environments and constraints.
-
Propose, evaluate, and align alternate solutions to client goals.
5. Proposals
-
Conduct FMECA for tender support.

Model spares requirements for tenders.

Support technical proposal development and site investigation reporting.
