About the role
The role is accountable for the preparation and finalisation of sales reporting, coordination of internal sales processes, support to customer engagement activities, and acting as a reliable interface between Sales, Technical Sales, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications and experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing and/or sales or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in sales support, and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience preparing sales reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Proven experience supporting senior leadership in a structured and compliance environment.
Key technical skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including analysis, PivotTables, formulas, dashboards, and Visual Basic Application.
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint for executive and customer-ready presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word for document editing and correspondence.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (SAP C4C Sales Cloud) and document management systems.
- Ability to consolidate data from multiple sources and ensure consistency across reports and presentations.
Key responsibilities
1. Sales Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare, consolidate, and finalise regular sales reports and dashboards for management review.
- Maintain and analyse sales data including pipeline, bid activity, forecasts, and win/loss performance.
- Coordinate inputs from Sales, Technical Sales, and Finance to ensure accuracy and consistency of sales reports.
- Compile, analyse, and validate sales and related data.
- Translate data and insights into reports.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and version control across all reports.
- Support Sales leadership with ad hoc analysis and reporting requests.
- Maintain reporting calendars and ensure timely delivery of all reporting outputs.
2. Internal Process Coordination
- Proactively coordinate and follow up on internal processes supporting Sales and Technical Sales (e.g., approvals, contracts, reviews, audits).
- Act as a central coordination point to keep sales-related activities on track.
- Identify delays, gaps, or dependencies and escalate appropriately.
- Gather and compile required information for approval of internal governance controls.
- Coordinate and support Bid Managers and Cost Estimators with document control and tracking.
- Perform day-to-day CRM administration and support users with data standards and guidance.
- Enforce CRM data standards and monitor data quality.
3. Sales and Customer Engagement Support
- Support Sales and Technical Sales teams with customer engagement activities, meetings, events, and site visits.
- Attend to and resolve customer queries under guidance from Sales leadership.
- Support the preparation of customer-facing materials and meeting packs.
- Act as interface between Sales, Technical Sales, and internal support departments (i.e. finance, legal & compliance etc)
4. General Administrative Support
- Provide administrative support to the Sales team, including calendar management, meetings, travel arrangements.
- Prepare agendas, record minutes, and track actions to closure.
