About the Role
HENSOLDT is seeking a Document Controller to support the digitisation and processing of historical build History documentation. The role will scan, verify, capture and archive configuration records to reduce the documentation backlog and ensure accurate, complete and traceable information within SAP and the document-management environment.
Please note that this is a fixed term contract (3 Months).
Qualification and experience:
- Current student, recent graduate or entry-level candidate.
- Exposure to configuration management, document control, records management or data administration will be advantageous.
- Experience capturing information or uploading documents through an SAP interface will be advantageous.
- Exposure to scanning equipment, spreadsheets or electronic document-management systems will be advantageous.
- Able to commit to the full three-month fixed-term project.

Key responsibilities:
Document Scanning and Digitisation
Scan and process historical Build History documentation in accordance with approved procedures and file-naming conventions to create complete, legible and correctly indexed digital records, resulting in reliable electronic documentation ready for controlled filing and retrieval.
SAP Data Capturing and Configuration Filing
Capture and link digitised Build History documentation to the correct SAP records, products, build numbers and reference information to maintain accurate configuration data, resulting in complete, traceable and configuration-controlled electronic records.
Document Verification and Discrepancy Management
Verify scanned documents and captured information against original records throughout the digitisation process to identify missing, damaged, illegible or incorrectly filed documentation, resulting in improved data accuracy and timely escalation of documentation discrepancies.
Physical Records Archiving
Sort, label, barcode and prepare original Build History documentation and archive boxes in accordance with the required filing sequence and records-management procedures to enable controlled storage and tracking, resulting in accurate transfer and efficient retrieval of physical records.
Project Administration and Compliance
Maintain daily and weekly processing records while monitoring assigned work against project targets and complying with document-control, information-security and confidentiality requirements to support timely backlog reduction, resulting in controlled project delivery within the agreed three-month period.
