Job Purpose:
The Electronic Technician supports the development engineer in achieving technical and development objectives by providing first-level engineering analysis, problem solving, and technical support. You will assist engineers in design, research, and development activities, ensuring effective execution of tasks within the business unit.
Qualification & Experience:

National Diploma, National Higher Diploma, or B. Tech in Electronic Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Proven experience in electronics development, testing, and fault finding is an advantage.
Key Technical Skills:
-
Strong fundamentals in mathematics, physical sciences, and mechanical engineering principles.

Experience with engineering tools such as Altium Designer, LabVIEW, and simulation software.

Good understanding of engineering processes, product life cycle, and review gates.

Proficient in PCB layout, soldering techniques, circuit diagrams, and EMI design principles.

Skilled in debugging, fault finding, and digital/electronic coding development.

Familiar with loom design, manufacturing techniques, and precision assembly.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and design requirements accurately.

Strong problem-solving skills and innovative mindset to improve product designs.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist and collaborate with engineers to achieve design, research, and development goals.

Perform debugging and fault-finding on electronic designs and hardware.

Complete engineering tasks and projects under the supervision of engineers.

Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation.

Develop and build test equipment to support product development and manufacturing.

Apply engineering design processes and participate in peer reviews.

Design and develop test equipment and industrialization tools concurrently with product design.

Collaborate with industrial engineering and manufacturing to ensure producibility and quality.

Perform lab work, engineering testing, and provide installation and demo support to customers.

Train production personnel and ensure smooth knowledge transfer within the team.

Adhere to company policies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
